Roy Carr

Having trained at Salford College of Art, I went on to serve for 25 years in the Royal Marines.  On leaving, I ran a commercial art studio before training as a lecturer and going on to teach art until my retirement.

As Chairman of EDBAS, I now indulge myself in subjects close to my heart, mainly landscapes, and especially mountain scenes and architecture. Working in all mediums I especially enjoy oils and pen and ink. Art Deco is my favourite period and top artists include Lowry, David Bellamy and Alfred Heaton Cooper.
