I became interested in art many years ago but it was not until about 2008 that I decided to pick up a brush to try and paint something. Starting with acrylic paint, I joined Penny Wilton’s art group to get some help with the different painting styles and to learn how to do it. This helped me a lot and from there I joined up with the East Dorset BraveArt Society whom, I have been with for about four years. I like to paint using oils due to their immense flexibility and thickness which provides brush marks and texture on the canvas.
